PHILOSOPHY
ACUPUNCTURE
CHINESE HERBAL TREATMENT

Acupuncture is a form of ancient Chinese medicine in which fine needles are inserted into the skin at certain points on your body. (NHS) In its over 2500 years of development, a wealth of experience has been accumulated, applying to the wide range of diseases and conditions.

Acupuncture is also considered as one of the safest medical treatments, both conventional and complementary.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) originated in ancient China and has evolved over thousands of years. TCM practitioners use herbal medicines and various mind and body practices, such as acupuncture and cupping, taiji etc, to treat or prevent health problems. In the United Kindom, people use TCM primarily as a complementary health approach.

CUPPING
Can Insurance Cover My Treatment Cost?

Chinese medicine practitioners have been using cupping for thousands of years to treat a wide range of health problems, including sore muscle, back and neck pain, skin diseases such as acne and hives, lowering cholesterol, migraines, knee arthritis and improving immune function. It is designed to help the body reduce inflammation by using suction. Think of it kind of like getting a massage in reverse.

As the demand for complementary medicine increases, more health insurance companies are beginning to offer cover for traditional acupuncture. However it depends upon your insurer. You should check your individual policy details if you have one.
